Piston & Rider Rings

CPI manufactures a comprehensive range of compressor piston and rider rings for the vast majority of reciprocating compressors produced in a range of CPI’s Special Polymer Alloys™ and other non metallic materials.

Many successful field applications using these unique materials have increasingly transformed both oil free and lubricated compressor reliability and have resulted in better sealing, less wear and longer life.

Custom designed rings for specific applications have been successfully developed for particularly demanding applications and in many cases CPI have completed conversions from lubricated to non lubricated operation.
